A typical conversation in our house:
Kid: “Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom!”
Mom: staring blankly into space, out a window, at the floor, for minutes, hours….
Kid: “Moooommmm!”
Mom: “Shhhh. Mommy’s busy.”
Kid: “Oh! Sorry! I didn’t realize you were writing again..”
